Originating from Tamil Nadu, India, I embarked on my creative journey as a fashion designer, which led me to venture into the expansive realm of design.

Coco Chanel, whose life was my first introduction to fashion. I recalled reading about her life and how she changed men’s clothing into comfortable and stylish feminine attire. Apparently, such an act was deemed sacrilege at the time. This encounter had a significant impact on my opinion of innovation. It made me ponder how great the power of creativity must be to motivate a person to rebel against society’s established conventions.

During my formative years, an inherent desire for self-expression emerged, predating my personal development. This instinct propelled me towards the world of books, where I discovered the power of articulating my thoughts and emotions through continuous exploration and dialogue of various concepts.

My experience as an undergrad at the National Institute of fashion Technology was a genuine watershed moment in my life when I learned how to refine my creative skills and broaden my horizons in terms of design and creative thinking. I began to think beyond the box. I was allowed complete creative license to express myself in whatever manner I desired, with no restrictions. This was the moment when I began to explore many creative concepts such as User research, digital art, critical thinking, design thinking, minimalism, and so on. We are not meant to be perfect; we are meant to be whole, is my design mantra.

Immersed in the design capital of Milan, Italy, I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Product-Service System Design (PSSD) at Politecnico Di Milano.

As we embark on this journey of exploration, I am reminded of the importance of making a positive impact on the world around us. This is why I always try to make a change. With each step, we have the ability to influence those around us.
